02 Story Behind the Project

From intention
to experience.

The identity for Majlis Evening was developed around the idea of an open threshold: a familiar social space expressed through a modern system of layered frames, woven shade, cultural color and an Arabic title crafted with the character of the Thmanyah display typeface.

Across the arrival, seating, hospitality, storytelling and photo moments, every element supported a relaxed Saudi atmosphere. Colorful abayas, white thobes, palms, coffee and shared conversation gave the experience its life, while careful fabrication and on-site coordination kept the visual world consistent from entrance to final detail.

Challenge

Honor the codes of the majlis without turning them into set dressing.

The gathering needed to feel culturally grounded and recognizably contemporary, with enough visual presence for a public institution while remaining warm, informal and human.

A coherent outdoor experience that translated cultural hospitality into architecture, graphics and guest moments — delivered with clarity, restraint and a distinctly Saudi sense of welcome.
